Workshop 2 of 2 in the Systemic Constellations mini-series “What Holds Us: Finding Our Right Relationship with the Earth in These Times,” facilitated by Adam Harvey & Cari Caldwell (Field & Fold).
The Earth gives continuously. Life flows from her in every direction — through the food we eat, the air we breathe, the ground we walk on, the rhythms of season and dark and light that govern our bodies whether we attend to them or not. She does not withhold.
And yet many of us cannot receive her. Something in us — some knot of ancestral grief, displacement, or rupture — stands between us and the life she offers constantly. The order of exchange is profoundly disrupted: we take, we consume, we destroy, but often we do not receive with consciousness, and we do not give back.
In this second evening, we bring constellation methodology to the question of exchange. We will trace what in our personal and ancestral systems blocks the flow — and we begin to open it. What would it mean to truly receive what the Earth gives? What could we offer in return?
Themes may include:
The order of exchange, and how it has been disrupted between humans and Earth
Ancestral threads that block receiving: displacement, severed belonging, unresolved grief
Constellation work using floor markers and guided representation
Sentences of restoration: acknowledging, bowing, receiving, returning
What right relationship and renewed flow actually feels like in your body
